Lunch and dinner at the New Orleans Creole Restaurant feature Creole and Cajun food. Live music highlights America’s musical heritage of jazz standards, blues, zydeco and Dixieland. Local, regional and national musicians create a lively, upbeat atmosphere where you can be comfortable in black tie or t-shirt and sandals.
The Full Circle Jazz Ensemble, led by saxophonist Nathaniel Paul-Schleimer (who also plays flute and clarinet) is one of Seattle most vibrant and exciting jazz ensembles.
A 10-piece band that through great arranging and musicianship has a full orchestral quality with a bold and dynamic sound. Featuring the best of the best entertainers, and known for exciting arrangements, this band is focused on the authentic sound and passion of the great American Songbook.
Conveying great jazz from the 1930s through the mid 60s, with a modern energy, while respecting the authenticity and edge in which the music was created. A band that can bring the music “full circle” with a presence and appeal that reaches out to audiences of all ages.
The Full Circle Jazz Ensemble’s primary arranger is famed Arranger/ Pianist Bob Hammer, whom had a major hand in the American Jazz Scene for over sixty years. Bob arranged and played for legends such as Charles Mingus (Mingus referred to Bob as his, “Beethoven”), Clark Terry, Elvin Jones, Johnny Hartman, Woody Herman, Roy Eldridge, Gene Krupa, and Lionel Hampton.
